By joining HAU during HAU’s foundational period, you are helping shape the future of this organization and becoming part of HAU’s inaugural membership community.
 

Membership Cost Disclosure
Membership is currently free through December 31, 2026. Beginning January 1, 2027, annual dues will apply:

General Members: $40/year

Associate Members: $25/year

As a grassroots, alumni-led organization, membership dues help sustain the infrastructure needed to responsibly grow and strengthen HAU. Our goal is to keep membership costs affordable while supporting essential organizational expenses such as technology, communications, programming, outreach, and initiatives that strengthen alumni engagement and support Howard students. While HAU currently operates at a national level, we hope to expand into regional alumni clubs as membership grows and local engagement deepens.
 

Code of Conduct

As a member of HAU, I agree to contribute to a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive community that values diverse perspectives and constructive dialogue. I will engage with fellow members in a manner that reflects professionalism, integrity, civility, and mutual respect in all HAU activities and communications, even when opinions differ. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or conduct that undermines the integrity of the organization will not be tolerated.
